Online Loan MPN Instructions

** ONLY USE IF INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE

1. You have been awarded a Stafford loan. Please follow the directions below to complete your loan application and master promissory note (MPN) online.
2. Click on the link below, which will take you to the online loan application.
3. Enter your social security number and birth date.
4. DO NOT MARK "FIRST-TIME BORROWER"
5. Click on “start the application process”.
6. Your partially completed loan should appear. This loan is partially completed because the Financial Aid Office has already done their part. You need to complete this application and sign your Master Promissory Note (MPN) in order to complete the processing of your loan. If a partially completed loan does not appear for you, please DO NOT PROCEED! Contact the Financial Aid Office at (318) 473-6423
7. Complete the online loan application. Make sure all blanks are filled in, or loan will not be processed.
8. You have the option to electronically sign your application. If you choose not to do so, please print a copy of the MPN and mail it to the address on the application. (NOTE* your loan will not be processed until the MPN is received by your lender.)
